DESCRIPTION
Khasuei dates are Iranian Dates and Iran is one of the main exporters of these delicious and nutritious Dates. Kasouei Dates are also known as Khasi Dates and they are mainly cultivated in Khass, a reigon that is located in Kerman province and they got their name from the reigon of their cultivation. They are also cultivated in Hormozgan, Bushehr, Khuzestan and Fars province.
Khasouei Dates are divided into 2 types: semi-dried and soft or juicy.
Their color is light brown when they are fully ripe but some times they are golden, yellow, dark brown. dark red or blackish purple depending on the time of their cultivation or species.
They have a taste close to Piarom Dates and they have round and small shape; despite of their small size, they are rich in nutrients and high in magnesium, iron, potassium and vitamin B. They are also low in fat and cholesterol-free
