DESCRIPTION
Sayer or Esta'maran Date is the most abundant kinds of date which accounts for 65% of Iranian Dates. It is one of the most important export figures. The shape is slightly elongated, oval and generally dark brown colored and som of them are light brown based on cultivation area and its cross section is yellow. The skin of this date is relatively separate from its flesh.
This date is one of the sweetest dates in the world. It is mainly cultivated in Khuzestan. More than 70% of Date production in Khuzestan province is for this Date. Sayer Date's harvest time is September to October.
Sayer Dates, like other types of Dates, have great health benefits and they are full of vitamins A & B, magnesium, iron, fiber, potassium and phosphorus which is best type of Dates specially for children.
